Raymond Abogonye is a seasoned International Development Consultant with over 12 years of experience in climate change mitigation and adaptation project design and delivery. He has successfully led and managed sustainable development initiatives across global organizations such as USAID, UKAID, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and GIZ. His expertise spans climate finance, carbon markets, renewable energy, and resilience-building programs, where he has worked closely with governments, private sector stakeholders, and civil society to design and implement impactful solutions. Raymond has played a key role in developing strategies for low-carbon transitions, climate-smart agriculture, and sustainable infrastructure, contributing to policy reforms and investment frameworks in emerging markets. Raymond holds an MSc in Sustainable Development from Oxford Brookes University, a Master's in Organizational Leadership from Portland State University, and an MBA from Commonwealth Institute, Vancouver, Canada. Through his leadership and advisory roles, Raymond continues to shape sustainable policies and investments that create lasting social, environmental, and economic impact.
